First Jump Experience
Tandem Skydiving in Iceland
Make Your First Jump Over the Land of Fire & Ice. You'll be securely harnessed to a certified tandem instructor who handles the technical flying while you focus on the feeling: the climb, the exit, the freefall, and the quiet glide back toward Iceland.
The Basics
What is Tandem Skydiving?
Tandem skydiving is the easiest way to skydive for the first time. You'll wear a harness that connects to your instructor's harness system. They guide the entire jump—exit, freefall stability, parachute deployment, steering, and landing—while you follow simple cues and enjoy the experience.
- Minimal training required
- Instructor controls the skydive
- Designed for first-time jumpers
Start to Finish
The Tandem Skydiving Experience
You'll arrive excited (and probably a little nervous). You'll leave feeling unstoppable.
Check In
Arrive early to get oriented, complete any paperwork, and settle in before your briefing. Plan extra time so the day feels relaxed, not rushed.
Training (Short + Simple)
Your training covers body position and exit posture, communication signals, what to do in freefall, and landing posture—the only "move" you must nail.
Suit Up + Safety Check
You'll meet your instructor, get fitted into your harness, and complete a safety check. If you're capturing media, you'll do a quick pre-jump moment before boarding.
The Climb
You'll board, buckle in, and climb. Iceland spreads out beneath you—dark coastline lines, green valleys, volcanic textures, or glacial whites depending on where you're jumping.
Exit + Freefall
At altitude, you'll move to the door with your instructor and step into open sky. Freefall is loud, fast, and pure adrenaline—then suddenly it's done.
Parachute Flight
The parachute opens and the world becomes calm. You'll glide, breathe, and take it all in. This is the part where people usually start laughing.
The Landing
Your instructor sets up the landing. You'll follow one simple instruction—lift your legs when told—and your instructor will guide you to a smooth touchdown. Then it's celebration time.
