Multi-Day Experiences
Boogies & Events in Iceland
The Skydiving Weekends That Feel Like a Festival. Boogies are the heart of the sport: multiple days of jumping, organized groups, fast learning, and the kind of community that turns strangers into lifelong friends. In Iceland, the backdrop makes it even more surreal.
The Basics
What is a "Boogie" in Skydiving?
A boogie is a special multi-day skydiving event at a dropzone where jumpers travel in to jump together.
It's different from a normal weekend because a boogie typically adds:
- Organization: planned groups for jumps (often called "organized loads")
- Momentum: more jumps and more learning in a short time
- Community: social nights, food, stories, and dropzone culture
If a normal weekend is a practice session, a boogie is a festival + training accelerator.
Why It Matters
Why Boogies Matter
People travel for boogies because they compress months of progress into a few days.
What you gain:
- Better jumping faster: you get more reps and clearer feedback
- Planned groups: you're not guessing who to jump with
- Stronger safety habits: structured planning improves decision-making
- Community: you meet jumpers from everywhere and build real connections
Know Before You Go
Who This Is For
Licensed Jumpers
Boogies are primarily designed for licensed skydivers. If you're current and ready to jump, you'll get the most out of the event.
Students / Newer Jumpers
Some events may include student-friendly lanes or structured coaching groups. That depends on staffing and conditions—so we collect interest and confirm what's available per event.
Spectators
Friends and family can often watch landings and enjoy the atmosphere. If you're bringing spectators, we recommend dressing for wind and staying ready for weather changes.
