Policy
Refund Policy
Skydiving is weather-dependent and safety-dependent. This Refund Policy explains what happens if we (Jump Iceland) cancel due to conditions, and what happens if you cancel, arrive late, or do not show. If you have questions about your specific booking, email jumpiceland@gmail.com.
If Jump Iceland Cancels
We may cancel or pause operations due to wind, visibility, cloud cover, aircraft or staffing issues, or any other safety factor.
If we cancel your jump for safety or operational reasons, you may choose one of the following:
If you purchased optional add-ons (such as photo/video or transport) that we did not deliver due to cancellation, those fees are refundable as part of the canceled service.
If You Cancel
Your options depend on how much notice you give and whether your booking required a deposit or prepayment.
Why these rules? We reserve aircraft, instructor time, and operational capacity based on confirmed schedules.
No-Shows & Late Arrivals
Important
If you do not arrive for your scheduled time (no-show), your booking is typically forfeited and payments may be non-refundable.
If you arrive late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but we cannot guarantee a jump. If we cannot fit you in due to late arrival, it may be treated as a late cancellation.
Rescheduling
We understand travel plans change. If you need to reschedule, email us as soon as possible with:
Rescheduling is always subject to safe weather windows, staffing, and aircraft availability.
Deposits & Group Bookings
Some group or custom bookings may require a deposit or prepayment to hold a time slot.
If a deposit is required, the deposit terms (refundable vs non-refundable, deadlines, and what it covers) will be stated clearly before you pay.
If your booking includes third-party costs (for example, custom transport, accommodation bookings, or special services arranged on your behalf), those third-party costs may be non-refundable once booked. We will disclose this before confirming.
Gift Certificates & Vouchers
If gift certificates are offered, they can typically be redeemed toward eligible services subject to availability and safety conditions.
If a gift certificate has an expiration date or special redemption rules, those terms will be stated at purchase.
Gift certificates are generally non-refundable unless required by applicable law or stated otherwise at purchase.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you have a concern, contact us first — we can usually solve issues faster than a bank dispute.
Unjustified chargebacks (for example, after a no-show or late cancellation) may result in a ban from future bookings and may be contested with evidence of the policy and communications.
Refund Method & Timing
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method when possible.
Processing time depends on your bank or payment provider. Typical processing is 5-10 business days after approval, but it may be faster or slower depending on your provider.
